"Maria is an amazing teacher who puts a lot of emphasis on building correct vocal technique and making sure singers are using their voice properly and not damaging their voice. She has been trained by the best teachers and has quite an extensive resume with performances in Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall in New York. As well as touring South Africa. She builds on what she has learned and shares that knowledge with her students. I highly recommend Maria!!!"
"My granddaughter just loved Maria, she really connected with her quickly. Maria has a great personality. She is very passionate and really enjoys teaching."
"Maria is a wonderful piano teacher! She was always prepared, energetic, and dedicated during Jayne's piano lessons. Maria taught Jayne intermediate piano lessons for about a year. Maria taught Jayne piano classics and included music theory and composition instruction that really helped Jayne grow as a pianist and a music student in general. Maria's love for teaching is apparent in the thought and time she puts into her lessons. Her teaching music theory along with piano lessons really gave Jayne a great foundation this year with college music theory classes. If you want a strong background in piano and music theory, as well as a loving dedicated teacher, choose Maria, you will be so happy that you did."
"My 15 year old son took piano and voice lessons from Maria and we could not have been more pleased. She is personable and professional and created the perfect atmosphere for learning and reaching goals. 5 stars all the way!!"
"Maria worked with my 10 year old daughter to teach her basics of piano and move her forward in playing viola and vocals...all in one hour a week! My daughter always looked forward to lessons and she felt encouraged and empowered to not only complete her lessons, but to try new things as well. I believe she is a better vocalist today because of Maria'a training."
